The Ministry of Health works to furnish, equip and operate 12 new hospitals in the Kingdom with a clinical capacity of 1,450 beds. A source for Al Watan said that during the past nine years, Al-Watan has made many achievements in the establishment of health centers, hospitals, specialized centers and medical cities, with the completion and initial delivery of 12 new hospitals and medical towers with a capacity of 1450 beds. Construction and implementation of 37 hospitals in all regions of the Kingdom with a capacity of 9150 beds, in addition to the establishment of 6 different new projects with a clinical capacity of 1750 beds. "Health has 5 new medical projects with a capacity of 6,200 beds, and 96 new health centers have been completed. The total number of health centers implemented is 978 out of a total of 1671 primary health care centers." "The work is being carried out to provide land for 321 new health centers, in addition to 21 projects that are distributed: a specialized center, diabetes centers, dental centers, regional laboratories, blood banks, poison centers, outpatient clinics and emergency centers."
