Tenders are invited for Assessment of GHG Emissions and Mitigation Strategies in Rice, Potato & Mint Cropping System in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and two international companies under develoPPP.de framework have made a strategic alliance and is expected to directly benefit 10, 000 small-holder farmers by managing GHG emissions and unsustainable practices in mint cropping system, lowering new risks and volatility in farming system. Given this context, this study aims to establish the GHG emissions profile and identify feasible GHG mitigation solutions for promoting low carbon agriculture in 4 blocks of Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. A super experienced agency in building climate resilience in agriculture is required to develop GHGs mitigation strategies for Mint, Rice and Potato crops in the project area.
