M5 Check maintenance which includes: 1. Engine disassembly, unloading & loading, Replacement of Must Change items & Condition have based items (if any) for doing M5 check works 2 . Replacement of Cylinder heads reconditioning with replacement of Valves, valve seats, Guides seals, Springs, Injector sleeve. 3. HSD Fuel Tank internal cleaning (by removing HSD Oil), replacement of rubber gasket of HSD Fuel Tank & NRV cleaning work Note: Gasket will be supplied by the firm. 4. Radiator Unit Unloading, stripping, radiator coil ( fins & water tube) cleaning by water jet, Radiator assembling by replacing top & bottom coil gasket & finally assembled Radiator Loading works. Radiator cleaning includes Gauging & soldering works ( if needed) Note. Gasket will be supplied by the Firm.. 5. FIP, injector calibration, Actuator replacement and setting at Service Centre, Setting of Fuel timing. 6 .Repair of Exhaust line and of silencer. 7. Engine safety control & gauge replacement. 8. Turbo charger turbine, compressor case cleaning, Replacemnent of Repair kit. 9 . Radiator coolant flushing, internal cleaning by using Radi-wash compound. 10. Crankshaft Bend checking, grinding and crack detection. 11. Alignment of engine and Alternator. 12. Engine & Engine Bed cleaning. 13. Exhaust pipe line insulation cladding work. 14. Final load test. Note: Mandatory and Condition based spares for M5 schedule for Model No.TBD41V12/ 12VI4TAG23 for CPCB-1/CPCB-II engines will be supplied by Rly.as per Annexure-1.
