Knowledge Services for Industrial Corridor Development Program - Consulting Firm to Promote Cohesive Development of Industrial Corridors to Enhance Manufacturing Competitiveness and Growth in India Approval Date: 29-Oct-2021 Deadline of Submitting EOI: 31-Mar-2022 11:59 PM Manila local time Estimated Short-listing Date: 31-Mar-2022 Estimated Commencement Date: 15-May-2022 Estimated Commencement Date: 705, 000 USD Engagement Period: 45 MONTH Objective and Purpose of the Assignment The Industrial Corridor Development Program (the program) aims to promote cohesive development of industrial corridors to enhance manufacturing competitiveness and growth in India. ADB's policy- based loan will support integration of industrial corridor development through strengthening of apex bodies at the center like National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) and National Industrial Development Corporation Limited (NICDCL) set up under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India (GoI) through Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). It will also assist in policy formulation to ensure there is coordination between states in developing common standards for program/ project evaluation, selection in compliance with environmental and social safeguards, gender equality and social inclusion, and climate resilience aspects. In this regard NICDCL is the knowledge partner in the industrial corridor development program in India. They will be responsible for program/ project evaluation in terms of financial, technical, environmental, social, gender inclusiveness, and climate resilience aspects.
