Conducting continuous Scour Monitoring of foundations using SONAR echo range technology by Airmar Echo Range SS510 Smart sensor or similar equivalent on trial basis and submitting continuous monitoring data, analysis and preparation / submission of detailed reports as detailed below: Continuous scour monitoring of foundations shall be conducted under the supervision of experianced Bridge Engineers of foundations in undated water and preparation of reports, using data collected by system i sequence as required by the railway. Continuous monitoring record shall be made available by 4 months. during trial and thereafter monthly reports for one year shall be made avaiable ensuring to cover one monsoon. Validation of continuos monitoring data and SMS alerts/ alrms with respect to ground level/ site conditions shall be done during trial periods of 4 months and thereafter for entire one year. Rectiï¬cation of any malfunction of the system, for periodcovering trial period of 4 months and thereafter for one year, shall be the responsibility of the ï¬rm. The system should be connected to a telemetry station for real time data transmision. Compact sensor shall be paired with computer or data logger. Echo range shall be ï¬xed to bridge abutments/ piers as per direction of the railway. and these sensors shall process depth and water temperature signals to communication data via NMEA0183 protocol, as per special technical conditions attached."
