BOQ Item Description: M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 m deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in earth plate No 3 of MES schedule 1991 part I connected to machinery/equipment for Timer Panel etc. as required 32x6 mm dia galvanized iron with 40mm GI light Grade pipe for protection including necessary excavation and earth work, concrete pit & chamber in PCC 1.2.4 type B1 & pit cover 75mm thick in PCC 1.2.4 type B1 dully reinforced with 6mm dia bar 150 c/c both ways including with lifting handle and Earth lead and 20mm bore GI watering pipe medium grade, etc. complete all as specified and directed.
