Measurement of reactive power at 220 kV Atul TSS end using EMTP Switching Surge and Reactive Power analysis due to laying of 1200 sqmm (2x3) xLPE U/G cable of 7.5 km length from Atul (GETCO) S/S to Switchyard of 220kV Atul TSS and analyses of complete designing of reactive compensation by procuring technical specifications/relevant data from GETCO/Transmission company. Scope of work to be covered in above work:- 1. To procure requirement of data from GETCO/ Transmission company. 2. To analysis technical data from GETCO/ Transmission company 3. To analyze and carry out complete designing of reactive compensation at Atul TSS end. 4. To provide a complete scheme of reactive compensation. 5. To provide required technical specifications for switching operations and reactive power requirements due to cable charging currents cause of laying of UG cable. 1. To perform the Switching surge analysis to estimate the switching over voltages due to cable switching using EMTP analysis. 2. To perform the reactive power analysis to estimate the reactive power devices to compensate the cable reactive power using load flow analysis.
