Supply & Supervision of AT Welding portion 60kg/60E1, R-260 Rail Joints Alumino thermit welding for 60Kg/60 E1 R 260 Grade Rails with 25 ± 1 mm gap using compressed air petrol preheating system, 3 piece prefabricated mould, single shot crucible with automatic tapping thimble which have been found satisfactory on the basis of laboratory evaluation, and fatigue testing results for 60Kg/60E1 R260 grade rails section as per IRST-19-2020. NOTE:-The rates shall include trimming of weld by approved type weld trimmer, grinding by approved type rail profile weld grinder, test welding, destructive testing, supply of welder with RDSO competency certificate, etc.. Compressed air petrol/LPG along with 3 Piece mould (Zircon washed) Manually pressed, Automatic tapping Thimble as approved by RDSO / Railway Board will only be used for welding and pressure tank will not be allowed. The repairs to breakage or replacement of any tools or plant have to be done by contractor at his own cost. (The rates does not include supply unskilled /skilled labour, petrol required for welding.)
