Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to increase the existing consulting contact with HSM Consulting Ltd. for the Burnaby Hospital Chemistry Lab Autoline Installation project (E254-00).
The work completed to date amounts to $56, 000.00, with an additional contract fee of $7, 000.00 requested. The maximum contract value is $63, 200.00, excluding tax. FH has opted not to undergo a public tendering process and instead has chosen to negotiate the proposed contract extension for the following reasons:
• HSM Consulting Ltd. is currently the Project Manager of record for the Project.
• HSM Consulting Ltd. has extensive knowledge of the Burnaby Hospital Chemistry Lab Autoline Installation project and is currently executing the work.
• HSM Consulting Ltd. is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
• HSM Consulting Ltd. has professional liability insurance coverage.
Consultants that wish to challenge this decision are to email the undersigned by April 6, 2025 - 15:00 hours local time.
