Description :
SCOPE
Generator
The dedicated generator set shall be;
165Kva (approx.), 50Hz, 3 phase
Be provided with Plant Risk Assessment documentation
Be provided with extended warranty information for both generator set and electrical control modules
Generator Set Controller - to provide AC metering, protective relaying and engine and generator control, protection and monitoring. Module shall (at a minimum) allow for engine and generator controls, diagnostics and operating information.
Sound Attenuated - to comply with Stage 2 levels of the European Community Directive 2000/14/EC or greater
Diesel
To assist with general flexibility with the greater network, the new Generator set shall be supplied to Council mounted on a mobile trailer.
Trailer
The trailer shall be;
Heavy Duty, box trailer configuration
To ensure towing compliance, the generator set shall be mounted on the trailer in such a positon as to result in approx. 10% of the load weight being received at the tow ball (eg. tow ball down weight shall be approx. 10%).
