Description : Askøy Municipality currently has the following access control systems: 38 buildings with ARx, 1 building with Paxton Net 2, and 1 building with R-Card.
We experience challenges with the buildings having different access systems.
- IT must be run on several servers
- No communication between the systems
- Different verification readers for programming new cards
- Requires considerable extra work when the same person (card) must have access to several buildings E.g., pin codes and card format must be added several places
- Complicated for employees who must understand and be able to operate different systems, etc.
