REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Surrey (the “City”) is inviting Proposals from highly qualified firms for the acquisition, development, and delivery of Oblique Imagery Data Acquisition.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The City of Surrey requests services to acquire, develop and deliver oblique aerial imagery for 2025. The following mandatory specifications are to be adhered to. The imagery must:
1. Be acquired between March 31 and May 15, 2025;
2. Cover the land area within the City of Surrey municipal boundary including a 100-metre buffer outside the City boundary, as well as White Rock, Barnston Island, Pattullo, and Port Mann Bridges;
3. Be processed using new LiDAR based DEM (if available when required to meet scheduling objectives);
a. Alternatively, Surrey-s existing DEM will be provided.
4. Conform to the City-s geodetic control specifications, and spatial projection as described below;
5. Support seamless oblique imagery in 4 directions for any area of interest within the City of Surrey;
a. Scale or zoom levels must support large scale or very detailed views (enough to clearly identify small infrastructure such as streetlights, water hydrants or even street signs), to smaller scale views of multiple city blocks (up to 100 hectares in size or more).
b. Specify the image resolution that would be used to support both the detailed and smaller scale imagery.
