Description :
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) invites companies to provide a response to the Request for Tender (RFT) for Levee Bank Remediation Work, Contract No. 24C073.
As part of the State Government’s River Murray flood recovery response, the Lower Murray Reclaimed Irrigation Area Levee Recovery and Resilience program was established to repair the damaged levees that caused extensive inundation of primary production land as a result of the 2022-2023 River Murray Flood event.
This project is to undertake intermediate remediation works to return levees to pre-flood levels to provide adequate armouring/protection in a future high-flow event to the following levee banks:
Cowirra
Cowirra South (provisional)
Neeta
Mobilong
Burdett
