Carrying out the seismic measurement
In order to utilize the geothermal potential in this region, water-bearing sandstone/conglomerate and carbonate horizons of the highest Upper Carboniferous, Permian, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous are usede and carbonate rocks of the Devonian age are classified as potentially suitable. The aim of the tendered investigations is to explore the geothermal potential of the medium and deep underground in the project area and thus form the basis for the realization of geothermal projectscts for large-scale heat supply. The planned seismic investigations are intended to provide answers to the currently open questions about the thickness, depth and structure of the potential geothermal reservoirs as well as the location of potentially water-bearing fault zones.The procedure is divided into two lots: Lot 1: Implementation of the 2D seismic campaign Ostwestfalen-Lippe, see Annex 1 Lot 2: Implementation of data processing, see Annex 2 Further information can be found in the corresponding service descriptions.
