The contract will be a Firm Fixed award. The statutory authority for this noncompetitive acquisition is FAR 13.106- 1(b) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is339112, and the FSC/PSC is 6515. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit andaward an Open Market Sole Source Firm Fixed award for IVx (IVS-PNT-002) Epson Pharmacy Label printer and the IVx (IVS-SCN-002) Zebra Barcode Scanner for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital at 800 Hospital Drive in Columbia, MO 65201-5275.THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. ASOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED.During the facilities on site visit with Omnicell IVx it was determined that two (2) additional pharmacy printers and scanners are needed for implementation of the IVx Workflow Pharmacy Camera System and IVx Cloud Virtual Server Software purchased in 2023 as part of ongoing United States Pharmaceuticals (USP) 797/800 compliance. This requirement is an effort to minimize sterile product compounding and the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) best practices regarding verification of sterile compounding recommendations is using technology to assist in the verification process.
