Questions and Answers (Q&A) 19 August 2024
Q1. The solicitation lists an Example Description with a Product Name and Product Number but not a manufacturer name. Can you advise who the manufacturer is for the Premier Pro Ranch Garage product code PPRG-01 is?
A1. Tuff Shed is the manufacturer of the example item. This is not a brand name requirement and offerors can quote products that are similar to example items that meet the specification.
Q2. Can the response/due date for quotes be extended?
A2. At this time, the due date for receipt of quotes is not extended. The government is using FAR 12.603 combo synopsis/solicitation format and the due date for receipt of quotes remain unchanged.
Please note the acquisition is in accordance with FAR 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial products or services. Please see the combo synopsis/solicitation for this effort. With use of the combo synopsis/solicitation, the government is not required to provide 30 days to respond to a solicitation. Due to the commercial items, the response due date is based on the government estimate of industry-s ability to prepare a quote.
Q3. Is there a better phone number than what is listed on the solicitation?
A3. The government did not include a phone number in the solicitation, as all communication is conducted via email.
