The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) on a sole source basis to YSI Xylem Inc. utilizing the procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).The Government intends to procure one (1) YSI Xylem EXO2 multi-parameter water quality Sonde and two (2) Sontek castaway handheld conductivity, temperature, and depth(CTD)s in the support of the Center for Surface Combat Training.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing.The anticipated date of the award is on or about 09 August 2024. The anticipated delivery date is 60 days after award. It is anticipated that the following Line Items will apply to the RFQ:CLIN 0001 - Multiparameter water-quality sonde - QTY 1 - LotThis pre-solicitation notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations.
