This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available.This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24224B0026- Project Number 630A4-17-520 to Replace Pump Station and Controls at the VA NYHHS St. Albans CLC, 179-00 Linden Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11425.This project will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SBA Cert SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov.The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, size standard: $19 million. IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VIP listed SDVOSB. Prospective Contractor is required to perform a minimum of 25% of the construction work. The estimate price range for this project is $1, 000, 000 and $5, 000, 000. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of this project is to replace the existing pump station and controls in Building 176 at the VA St. Albans Campus. This project includes replacing six pumps, valves, accessories, and controls using majority of the existing piping. Replace the electrical switchgears for the six pumps. Connecting the meter bypass valve, surge valves, flow meters, thank level sensors, pump VFDs and pressure switch pumps on a new DDC system and connecting it to the existing the BMS system.
