This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Regina (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Street Infrastructure Renewal Program - 24C as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The scope of work for this NRFP is for rehabilitation work of existing city assets associated with roads - sidewalk, curb, gutter, road resurfacing/repairs. The work also includes adjacent asset work such as catch basins, manholes and reinstatement of landscape. This includes quality of work for life-cycle of the assets and completed in a timely to reduce impact to our citizens during the construction season. The Street Infrastructure Renewal Program (SIRP) projects are annually selected to maintaining the City's existing arterial and collector roadway infrastructure network The City has a current Asset Management Plan in place for its road infrastructure to help proactively manage roadways assets. The City's Road network consists of 1081 km paved roads and 1412 km sidewalks. About 63% of the network length made up of total 678 km residential roads. The remaining 17% collector roads 14% arterial roads and 6% expressway roads total of 403 km are maintained through this Street Infrastructure Renewal Program. There is also 30 km of the paved roads identified as an urban highway connector that fall under the Urban Highway Connector Program (UHCP).
