Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO-17), intends to conduct a sole source award action with Abiomed Inc. for the following services: NCO-17 intends to modify Purchase Order v 36C25722P0211 to extend the terms of the contract for an additional two (2) years Option Year 3 period of performance is 01/11/2025 - 01/10/2026. Option Year 4 period of performance 01/11/2026 01/10/2027. The following services are to be performed in accordance with the order s Statement of Work: One-year parts, labor, travel and all maintenance of the Abiomed Impella units EE 131070 (S/N: IC3592)One-year parts, labor, travel and all maintenance of the Abiomed Impella units EE:131071 (S/N: IC3594)One-year parts, labor, travel and all maintenance of the Abiomed Impella units EE 148762 (S/N: IC5339)The proposed modification is needed due to an unsuccessful solicitation and the need to resolicit the requirement. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice.
