ACAN - Maintenance and Repair of Wintersteiger Machinery - Lacombe AB

This Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) intends to award a service contract to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities. If no supplier submits, a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in this ACAN, the Contracting Officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.

REQUIREMENT:

The Lacombe Research & Development Centre in Lacombe, Alberta requires a contract for annual maintenance and repair of Wintersteiger seeding, harvesting and seed-processing equipment in order to keep them in optimal operating condition.

SERVICES REQUIRED:

The contractor will be required to provide :

-Annual maintenance and inspection. This applies primarily to machinery that is powered by Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) or electric motors and may use hydraulic systems to transfer power. This work will include but is not limited to:

othe change of oil and hydraulic fluids and filters;

othe change of air filters;

othe lubrication of all joints, fitting and bearing;

othe update of operating system software

-Inspect the machines to identify potential problems and worn, broken or missing parts.
