Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-71702 (Lot 5C, Block 200), consisting of approximately 8, 956.48 square feet, at Barrow Airport for an additional five (5) years. Applicant: City of Barrow. Annual rent: $3, 358.68 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: non-aeronautical - a liquor distribution center which accepts and distributes air freight; operation and maintenance of a visitor center, including a gift shop, tour headquarters and tourist information to assist the flying public.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., November 29, 2024, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.
