THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference: Solicitation Number N00244-25-Q-0043. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government needs, to:Thorlab 43 Sparta Ave, Newton, NJ 07860 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 33310; the business size standard is 1000.The objective of this sole source award is to issue a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for Woofer tweeter adaptive Optics kit consisting of two deformable mirrors, one deformable mirror for woofer minimum 40 actuators with high throughput and tweeter deformable mirror with minimum 140 actuators, one shack harmon sensor 880fps laser diode, imaging optics and mounting hardware and fully functional control software.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the ability to provide the Woofer -Tweeter adaptive optics kit. POP: 30 Days after award Capability statements shall not exceed 10 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government.
