Description : This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of the IESO-s intent to post a Request for Proposals (RFP) in August 2022 to select one or more Service Provider(s) that can deliver the scope described below. The IESO has initiated a project that will deliver foundational changes in how transmission limits are determined and used to operate the electricity grid in Ontario. The project intends to deploy capabilities to continuously evaluate the security of the grid and provide timely and precise information to our operators, even following unforeseen events. This RFP intends to select one or two Service Provider(s) to deliver the following: A Real-Time Limit Validation Platform that enables business users to develop learning algorithms, such as machine learning and instance-based-learning, and includes features for data collection, data processing, feature engineering, data labelling, model design, model training & optimization, in addition to endpoint deployment and monitoring.
