Smithers Regional Airport, on behalf of the Town of Smithers, is seeking an experienced aviation consultant for professional engineering services related to the detailed design, tendering and construction management services in support of the Airport LED Lighting & Electrical Upgrade Project at theSmithers Regional Airport (YYD). The project involves airfield electrical replacement at the Smithers Regional Airport. The project includes the following scope: 1. New Runway 15-33 medium intensity LED edge lighting including conduit/cabling, etc. 2. New Taxiway A, B, C and Apron LED edge lighting, including conduit/cabling, etc. 3. Replace Runway 15 ODALS system onto new/existing foundations, including new conduit/cabling (except reuse between threshold and Station 3). New CCR for 15 ODALS. 4. Replace Runway 33 ODALS system onto existing foundations, including new conduit/cabling (except reusebetween threshold and Station 1). 5. Replace Runway 15 and 33 PAPI primary cabling. 6. Replace Runway 15 and 33 wind direction indicators onto new foundations. 7. Replace 10 airfield guidance signs with new LED signs onto new foundations. 8. Replace ALCS with a new PLC control system including FSStouchscreen and fibre cabling between FSS and FEC.
