This Request for Proposal (RFP) by ABmunis is seeking respondents who are able to: Support ABmunis- advocacy efforts on behalf of its membership; Provide subject matter expertise pertaining to municipal finance (including their relationship with financial resources provided from the provincial government, use of financial resources to build and sustain municipal infrastructure, and financial health of municipal governments); Perform analysis on municipal financial health, municipal infrastructure funding, trending on provincial and municipal taxes, and; Provide concise, thoroughly researched, and easy to understand financial analysis (which includes infographics and illustrative examples). This scope of work is driven out of ABmunis mission to “[be] a change agent that enables municipalities to be a fully engaged order of government with the capacity to build thriving communities”. The financial health of municipal governments is a critical part of ABmunis- advocacy efforts, and ABmunis is seeking to further increase the awareness of the importance of infrastructure funding and the financial health of municipalities in Alberta. More information on the services and deliverables to be produced via this RFP can be found in both Appendix B - Project Overview & Context and Appendix C - Scope of Work. The contract term for services and any other support agreements will be specified in a contract resulting from this RFP.
