Albertkanaal - Municipality of Wijnegem: rebuilding of bridge Turnhoutsebaan. Phase 2: Bicycle bridge.
The works include the construction of a new steel bicycle bridge (Tuikabelbrug) with steel bridge on the southern left bank and a run -up ramp on the northern right bank, the partial rebuilding of the concrete gallery along the southern left bank of the canal, the environmental construction and the reconstruction of road infrastructure to the new bridge with the exception of separate sewerage system and the redevelopment of the Gravenwezelsesteenweg with the exception of the cycle path. These works mainly: • The demolition of the remaining constructions of the substructure (mainly foundations) of the road bridge already demolished in another assignment; The partial demolition of the existing gallery on the left bank and the construction of a new gallery in reinforced concrete; • The construction of a steel tuikabel bridge for cyclists and pedestrians over the Albert Canal; • The construction of a steel bridge and stairs to the Stokerijstraat on the Left Bank; • The construction of the heads and pillars in armed concrete with regard to all foundations; • The construction of shot in armed soil covered with (decorative) gabions; • The ...
