Abstract: Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre are looking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to deliver this exciting project to transform the visitor experience at the visitor attraction.The works to be carried out as part of this project are the implementation of a range of improvements, alterations and urgently needed conservation works to the buildings.The proposed works comprise: • Removal of existing ramps and walkways as well as the shipping container used as exhibition space. • Conservation repairs to existing structures, including structural alterations to provide support to existing timber frame. • Installation of new ramps • Installation of new glazed doors to railway siding • Installation of new floor surfaces including embedded track through railway siding • Improvement of insulation to gift shop • Improvements to lighting / electrical layout
