1. Theobjective of the consultancy is to support the World Bank Task Team in preparing an economic and financial analysis to develop key blue sectors (fisheries andcoastal tourism) and address two main threats to the blue economy in theKerkennah islands (coastal erosion/marine submersion and plastic pollution). Toaddress plastic pollution, an analysis will be conducted to identify and assessthe feasibility of a potential financing model, which would supplement existingfinancing to implement measures to reduce plastic pollution in KerkennahIsland. 2. The consulting team should mobilize the best availableknowledge and experience on the blue economy and circular plastic economy aswell as on economic and financial analysis at the international and nationallevels.
