The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded contract N00024-21-C-6308 (Raytheon Missiles and Defense), for the upgrade of ten (10) legacy AN/AQS-20A mine hunting sonars to ten (10) AN/AQS-20C mine hunting sonar configuration. The AN/AQS-20C system is an integral part of the Littoral Combat Ship Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Mission Package (MP), and expected to provide Navy-s basic mine hunting capabilities to the Fleet.
