Item1: ( 918 - 16 ) The Scope of Services under this contract includes providing personnel and equipment for the Archaeological Monitoring for Mahogany Road (Route 76) Ethel McIntosh Memorial Drive Roadway Improvements on the island of St. Croix. The roadway project consists of roadway rehabilitation, drainage improvements, retaining wall repairs, and other improvements along 5.65 miles of roadway. All construction activities involving excavation require archaeological monitoring. It is expected that the qualified contractor will be available onsite for the duration of the construction contract. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Antiquities and Cultural Properties Act of 1998 (Title 29, Chapter 17 of the Virgin Islands Code) and the National Historic Preservation Act of 1998 (as amended).
