The Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC), acting on behalf of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), is issuing this Request for Proposals for architectural services to design a mixed-use residential building led by the inclusion of a new podium elementary school at 50 Ethennonnhawahstihnen- Lane (Block 20 of the Canadian Tire Lands). The principal objective of this RFP is to select an architectural firm to develop a Facility Test Fit Concept and a Schematic Design. TLC and TDSB are seeking an organization capable of clearly and creatively illustrating how this property can be reimagined into a mixed-use development comprised of a new, state of the art, podium elementary school and residential component. The Facility Test Fit and Schematic Design will enable the TLC team to socialize the proposed redevelopment with key stakeholders, undertake feasibility analyses, and prepare for the City of Toronto-s Zoning By-law and Site Plan Approval application processes.
