Leicester City Council on behalf of the Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland ICB wishes to commission an ADHD pre and post diagnosis support offer for adults 18 + (the 'Service'). The Service will offer support to adults 18+ with either a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The primary function of this Service will be to offer a comprehensive programme of support, which includes a robust offer of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to those who either self refer or are signposted to the Service. The offer of support made available to those people who access the Service will include a mixture of One-to-One support, workshops, and peer support groups designed to increase knowledge and understanding of ADHD. The schedule of workshops individuals can access will cover aspects of living with ADHD and may include the following (note this list is not exhaustive): Peer support groups (face to face and virtual). • All about ADHD • Executive functions (sleep, diet) • Life functions (relationships, work) • Finances • Accessing support • Communicating needs • Neurodiversity as a parent • Trauma • Addictive Behaviours • Building resilience • Talks from professionals • Talks from individuals with neurodiversity Included in this offer, we are looking to maintain the 3 existing Peer Support Groups across Leicester and Leicestershire which are currently weekly 2 hour long face to face and virtual meetings that run at various times to meet ...
