Airport Zurich AG (FZAG) operates a luggage balance system (Baggage Reconciliation System, BRS). This system ensures that all passenger luggage pieces are authorized to be loaded onto an airplane and ensures that no piece of luggage travels without the associated passenger. The current BRS solution has reached the end of its life cycle and must be replaced by a sustainable software solution by January 1, 2026, which meets the requirements of the FZAG.
