Expression of Interest are invited for BiH Just Transition - Conducting the World Bank Skills and Preferences Household Survey.
Description: The selected Contracted Firm will conduct Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) of citizens living in two municipalities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Banovici and Zenica) that could be affected by potential closure or downsizing of mining operations. The objective of the survey is to understand the labor force-s skills profile, capacity and readiness to transition into alternative employment. To meet this objective, the Contracted Firm will successfully complete interviews with working-age individuals in a minimum of 1000 households. The survey instrument uses the discrete choice experiment method to elicit respondents- job preferences, reservation wages and mobility factors, captures differences across workers within and outside the mining sector, and gathers qualitative information on workers affected by the transition using skills self-evaluation.
