Grades 5-9 and part of the subjects of grades 7-9 are located in the extension of Biispanlahti's youth center. In addition to the classrooms, the expansion will include a youth space, civil shelter, kitchen, lobby/dining room, gym, home economics and music class, as well as teaching spaces for special groups. Youth center Thuimii on a full-time basis.
The tender for the entire contract is estimated to be in November-December 2023. It is the main contract, including the construction contract, building engineering contracts, and earthworks. The extension is about 4862 brm2 and a service building of about 50 brm2 will be built in its immediate connection. In addition, the regionsa former maintenance building will be demolished. The contract also includes yard construction and the construction of a geothermal system.
The object is located at Marsukatu 1, Kaarina. The extension will be connected to the old middle school with a connecting bridge and the construction will take place while the middle school is in operation. Site safety guidelinesinvestment must be made especially since the old school building located in the immediate vicinity of the construction site is in use. From the side of the old upper school, there will be technology bets, e.g. hot domestic water to the extension part. Work that interferes with school attendance must be scheduled during the school holidays.
Estimated start date of the projectThe project is expected to be completed in early 2024. The project is scheduled to be completed in spring-summer 2024.
The target is Kuivaketju 10 target.
