Description
This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for the upcoming Solicitation 75H701-25-R-00016 BLACKFEET HOSPITAL CT ROOM RENOVATION a construction project prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36. These construction services are in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS).
The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about February 3, 2025 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposals will be posted on https://sam.gov under Contract Opportunities. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Construction Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to https://sam.gov.
SCOPE OF WORK: This acquisition is for the construction to renovate the existing computerized tomography (CT) scan room and family room. The Service Unit (SU) plans to purchase a new 128 slice CT scan unit to replace the existing unit. The existing room is not adequate in size and infrastructure to support the new CT scan unit. The renovation will create an adequate space for the new CT to be installed in accordance with 2018 FGI Guidelines and manufacturer recommendations. The project will include creating a CT room of adequate size with sufficient HVAC and electrical capacity to safely operate the equipment and serve patients. The project will also include an upgrade to the existing security room.
LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed at the Blackfeet Hospital, 760 Blackweasel Rd, Browning, MT 59417
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from date of notice of proceed.
CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $500, 000 and $1, 000, 000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(f).
