Description

Blanket Purchase Request for Dry Docking Maintenance and Vessel Repair

This Sources Sought Notice will be utilized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District to establish a list of sources interested in Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for services related to Dry Docking Maintenance and Vessel Repair.

A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as defined by FAR 13.303(a) is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing "charge accounts" with qualified sources of supply. The BPA does not guarantee, nor obligate the Government to, any orders to a BPA holder in any way.

The agreements will have a period of performance of five (5) years from the date the Master Agreement is established. As services are required, the Government will issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors actively holding a BPA Master Agreement. BPA holders will not be required to quote on every RFQ. Quotes will be required to be submitted electronically, via email, or fax.

Interested Vendors should be capable of provide all labor, materials, and qualified personnel, supervision and quality control necessary to perform all work All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with industry and safety standards. It is a requirement that any technician working, repairing and testing specific government equipment have certifications by the manufacturer.

To be eligible for a BPA, an Interested Vendor SHALL has an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM), at www.sam.gov.
