The subject of the present contract is the conclusion of a framework contract for the supply of
Brake discs (as per plan) intended for the maintenance of the M6 metro vehicles (manufactured by CAF).
The discs will be of the 'Proven Design' type, that is, dat An existing design was used, the reliability of which can be demonstrated by reference to applications in the field of mass transport by rail.
On average 100 to 180 brake discs per year from 2024 were used, with the supplier building a buffer stock of approx.184 brake discs. These brake discs (with an MOQ of 8 pieces) must be delivered to STIB within 20 days after ordering (on demand).
The numbers are based on a rolling forecast in which the quantity for the first year (2024) is fixed. After that, the numbers can be negotiatedorders adjusted.
The estimated value for this contract fluctuates between €1, 100, 000 and €1, 500, 000 over a period of 96 months or 8 years.
The target number of contractors is preferably 2 with the second best placed tenderers in descending order as back-up up.
