Natural Resources Center is responsible for preserving Finland's fish genetic resources with the help of mother fish farming and cryobanking (maitibank). At the same time, broodstocks of different fish species and stocks produce roe and milk in order to preserve and revive the diversity of fish stocks in the wild, and the fisheryfor the needs of businesses, entrepreneurs and managers of fishing waters.

In order to secure the preservation of fish species and stocks and the production of roe in the future, the Finnish Natural Resources Agency is investigating the possibilities of placing, breeding and managing the fish species and stocks within its field of operation.for a service provider offering iviculture. Schools of fish can be placed partially or completely.

The service provider, i.e. the aquaculture facility, must be located in places that are safe for irrigation and fish health. Aquaculture plants must also meet the following requirements:

- the staff must have experienceusta, especially about salmon farming

- the aquaculture facility must belong to the Food Agency's fish health service or similar fish health monitoring

- the aquaculture facility must have hatching/hatching facilities and rearing ponds

The schools of fish to be farmed would be moved to the Natural Resources Agency's facilityfrom ks as a disinfected roe for rearing.

Interested service providers are asked to provide the following information when registering:

- what kind and which fish species or stocks could be covered by the service

- how the requirements described above are met for their own company.
