Buy BC is a province-wide marketing program led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (the Ministry), focused on building consumer awareness, demand and sales of B.C. agriculture, food and beverage products.

Buy BC's mission is to support farmers and businesses by increasing the visibility of B.C. food and beverage products in grocery stores and markets across the province, and motivating consumers to Buy BC.

The Buy BC strategy focuses on three goals:

Goal 1: Buy BC products are available in grocery stores across the province.Goal 2: Consumers are motivated to purchase Buy BC products over alternatives.Goal 3: Consumers are triggered to purchase Buy BC products when shopping across the province.To deliver on Goal 2, the Ministry is expanding its Buy BC Ambassador Program to promote Buy BC and to educate consumers on the bounty of B.C. food and beverage products and the importance of buying B.C.

As part of this work, the Ministry is seeking one Buy BC Brand Ambassador to serve as a culinary representative and advocate for Buy BC food and beverage products. The Proponent will be responsible for developing monthly recipes and producing cooking demonstrations videos to be posted on Buy BC website and Buy BC Instagram.
