This call for expressions of interest launched by the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique (CTM) aims to identify and preselect private investors to enter the capital of the Societe anonyme de Capital Investissement (Sas), which will then invest in the capital of the target SMEs. .
It'sst in a spirit of active collaboration and openness to a wide typology of investors with majority private capital, that the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique publishes this AMI with a view to integrating its future Investors into the capital of the SAS.
The CTM has the choice to resumeand reform the methods of managing its Existing Funds and creating its own territorial financial tools for managing and monitoring investments in local small and medium-sized enterprises (hereinafter, "SMEs").
The CTM thus carried out two ex ante evaluations which have, each, demonidentify the existence of market failures and sub-optimal investment situations. In the light of these evaluations and in particular the ex ante evaluation of February 11, 2022, it was decided to create a so-called Jeremie fund of funds (hereinafter, the "FdF Jeremie") and to develop several areas offinancial instruments underlying the FdF Jeremie (hereinafter, the "Financial Instruments"), and in particular private equity instruments made up of SAS and a Martinican co-investment fund (hereinafter the "Fund of co-investment").
