MARKET DIALOGUE

The rail projects Jyvaeskylae-Pieksaemaeki basic improvement and improvement of the Tampere-Jyvaeskylae line, 1st phase will hold market information about the contracts/works of the year 2024-2025 on Wednesday 29 November 2023 from 9 to 11 am. The event will present projects in general, construction contracts for 2024-2025 and procurement-schedule.

JYVAeSKYLAe-PIEKSAeMAeKI BASIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND GOALS

The goal of the Jyvaeskylae-Pieksaemaeki basic improvement project is to ensure the smoothness and safety of train traffic in the future as well. Basic improvement measures include the following:

•Jyvaeskylae railway yard's tracks in poor conditionen and switchgear overhaul, renewal of lighting and switchgear heating, renewal of the Tourujoki rail bridge and maintenance repair of the Aelylae bridge, as well as improvement of the drainage of the track yard.improvement of drainage (ditches and culverts), renewals and repairs of bridges in poor condition, and lighting repairs.

•(Jyvaeskylae) (Pieksaemaeki) renewal of the safety devices of the line section of the basic improvement project.

•Improving the safety of the Hankasalmi railway yard.
