The Lapland Rescue Service is responsible for oil response in the Deep Sea in the area of responsibility of the Lapland Rescue Service (Kemi, Tornio, Simo). The ice class of a vessel operating in ice must be 1A SUPER and the vessel must be able to operate in the entire Paeraemere area. The vessel used to maintain summer collection readiness must be able tomust be able to operate in the Deep Sea in Finnish territorial waters (at least traffic area Kotimaa III) and be suitable in terms of size and functions for the use of a collection system intended for open water.
