Banff Centre is looking for a firm to perform an onsite assessment to determine the recommended approach to expand the campus fibre network. The assessment will provide an estimate of how much fibre would be required, the effort to install that fibre and the effort and equipment required to terminate the fibre at the specified locations across campus. The assessment will determine where existing conduit can be used and where new or expanded conduit would be required. Banff Centre has an existing fibre network (Exhibit 1) and is looking to significantly expand the capacity.The deliverable will be a design that meets Banff Centre-s new requirements for the fibre build and the detail will be such that the design provides sufficient information to be used in a RFP for the construction, installation, termination and testing of an expanded fibre network.
