HbR is realizing a new interactive center over the port 'Portlantis' on Maasvlakte 2. The opening of Portlantis is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024. FutureLand (the current information center) will then close its doors.

HbR is looking for the exploitation of the kiosk, the restaurant and meeting roomand events and optionally the food truck and ferry, a suitable enthusiastic concessionaire.

Portlantis tells 'the big story of the port of Rotterdam' of now and the future. The center contributes to knowledge and image about (the (personal) importance of) the port. This happens on contemporarye and playful manner, interactive and hands-on.

The new building, designed by MVRDV, consists of five stacked volumes that are offset from each other. There is a kiosk on the ground floor, a restaurant on the fourth floor and meeting rooms on the third and fourth floorsalen. There is also an outdoor area where a food truck can be placed and there are boat trips on the Portlantis ferry where there is a bar and where meetings or events can also be organized.
