TenneT is one of the Top 5 transmission system operators in Europe. TenneT is the owner of high-voltage grids in the Netherlands and major parts of Germany. This requires continuous investments in maintenance and grid development Projects to reduce interference and outages as much as possible and thereby ensure quality and stability. TenneT is therefore responsible for several grid development and maintenance Projects with national and international reach. As a transmission system operator, TenneT holds a key role in supplying Germany with electricity, positioned as an indispensable player and enabler for German infrastructure, industry, the service sector and private households. The construction, operation and maintenance of critical facilities require structured Project management and efficient information and document management for effective external collaboration. In addition, large construction Projects involve a large number of documents and stakeholders that require verifiable handling and management. Currently, information and document management for construction Projects is supported by a third-party SaaS Content Collaboration Platform based on a contract that was publicly tendered in 2018. However, TenneT-s operational requirements with respect to information and document management have evolved and hence they are now object of a new procurement process.
