CFF SA, RER Zurichois acquisition project - Construction, approval and delivery of two -storey self -propelled trains for Regional Traffic Federal Iron CFFs, major fleet projects

CFF SA provides for an acquisition of 116 two -storey self -propelled trains. The vehicles to be acquired for the RER Zurichois must first replace those of the two-level shuttle train type (DPZ) and the duplex train circulating during high crowd (HVZ-R). The use of vehicles is also planned on other lines in Switzerland. In addition, the acquisition includes options according to the figure 2.9 below. An additional information is proposed in the tender documents.
