Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP)Charter Air Ambulance Services - Sioux Lookout, Sudbury, and Kitchener*Please note this is not a Request for Bid*Ornge wishes to advise prospective proponents that it intends to issue a procurement in the upcoming weeks to procure Charter Air Ambulance Services for the following bases: Sioux Lookout, Sudbury, and Kitchener.Ornge is seeking to procure up to eight (8) aircraft to provide air ambulance service at these bases primarily at the Primary Care Paramedic (“PCP”) level of care, with one (1) aircraft per day at Advance Care Paramedic (“ACP”) and or PCP/Registered Nurse (“RN”) level of care level of care. Ornge expects to award up to 750 guaranteed flight hours annually, per contracted aircraft.Ornge is a family of companies incorporated federally. Ornge provides air and land ambulance services under an agreement with the Ontario Ministry of Health. Additional information about Ornge is available at www.ornge.ca.This procurement is anticipated to be issued within 90 days.The posting date and time are subject to change at the sole and absolute discretion of Ornge.
