The Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) is seeking bid submissions from qualified mechanical engineering consultants (respondents) to investigate, provide complete design services, building permit application and closing, design/construction tendering services, contract administration, project closeout, and commissioning services for the Ammonia Chiller Replacements and Refrigeration Plant Upgrades, as well as the Snow Melt Pit Installation (work) at the Georgina Ice Palace (GIP) located at 90 Wexford Drive, Georgina, ON L4P 3P7 (site);The required consulting services will include, but not be limited to, mechanical, architectural, electrical, structural, and civil work; andThe successful respondent (consultant) will engage the services of qualified members of the “Consulting Team”, including but not limited to Mechanical Engineer, Architect, Electrical Engineer, Structural Engineer, and Civil Engineer, as required to undertake this work. Members of the consulting team could be qualified in-house personnel of the respondent-s organization or qualified subconsultants.
